Refund Policy
This Refund Policy describes when and how you can request a refund for PAIO Subscriptions purchased from PopcornSAR Co., Ltd. ("PopcornSAR", "we", "us"). This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.
We want you to be confident in your purchase. Together with our 30-day Free Trial, we offer a short-window money-back guarantee after payment, with windows tailored to the subscription type:
- Monthly Subscriptions: within 7 days of the initial purchase
- Annual Subscriptions: within 14 days of the initial purchase
1. Money-Back Guarantee
1.1 Eligibility
You are eligible for a full refund of your Subscription fee if all of the following are true:
- (a) you submit your refund request within the applicable window from the date your initial paid Subscription was purchased:
- Monthly Subscriptions: within seven (7) calendar days
- Annual Subscriptions: within fourteen (14) calendar days
- (b) the request relates to your first purchase of a paid PAIO Subscription (i.e., the refund right does not reset on renewal — see Section 2); and
- (c) your Account is in good standing and has not violated our Terms of Service (in particular, the acceptable-use rules in Section 9 of the Terms).
Note: Because we offer a 30-day Free Trial to every customer, you have ample opportunity to evaluate PAIO before any payment is made. This short money-back window is intended to address quick changes of mind shortly after activation of a paid Subscription.
1.2 What Is Refunded
Subject to Section 1.1, we will refund 100% of the Subscription fee that you paid for the current billing period, less any non-refundable taxes that we are unable to recover under applicable tax law. Where Paddle (our Merchant of Record) collected taxes on our behalf, taxes will typically be refunded together with the principal.
1.3 No Refund for Free Trials
The thirty (30) day Free Trial is provided at no cost. Because no payment is collected for the Free Trial, no refund is required or possible. If you choose not to convert your Free Trial into a paid Subscription, you simply will not be charged.
2. Renewals and Mid-Term Cancellations
2.1 Auto-Renewing Subscriptions
If your Subscription auto-renews, you will be charged at the start of each new billing period (monthly or annual). To avoid being charged for the next period, you must cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through your Account settings or by submitting a request through the "Contact Us" tab on our website (https://autosar.io).
2.2 Mid-Term Cancellations
Other than the money-back guarantee in Section 1, we do not provide pro-rated refunds for the unused portion of an active Subscription period. After cancellation, you will retain access to the Service until the end of the current billing period.
2.3 Renewal Refund Window (Annual Plans)
For annual Subscriptions that auto-renew, if you contact us within fourteen (14) calendar days of the renewal charge to dispute the renewal, we will, at our discretion, cancel the renewal and provide a full refund provided the Service has not been materially used during that 14-day window after renewal.
3. Enterprise On-Premise Licenses
PAIO Enterprise On-Premise Licenses are governed by the refund and termination terms set out in the relevant separately negotiated agreement. The money-back guarantee in this Refund Policy does not apply to Enterprise On-Premise Licenses unless explicitly stated in that agreement.

4. Exceptions and Non-Refundable Situations
The money-back guarantee does not apply, and refunds will not be provided, in the following situations:
- (a) the request is made after the applicable refund window (Monthly: 7 days; Annual: 14 days; Annual renewal: 14 days under Section 2.3);
- (b) your Account has been suspended or terminated for breach of our Terms of Service, including violations of acceptable-use rules, fraud, abuse, or illegal activity;
- (c) you have already received a refund for a previous purchase of the same Subscription within the last six (6) months;
- (d) the refund is requested for an Enterprise On-Premise License whose separate agreement does not provide for refunds;
- (e) payment disputes or fraud investigations are pending against your Account (which we will resolve through Paddle or Toss Payments and the relevant payment network);
- (f) custom services, professional services, training, or consulting fees, which are non-refundable once delivered;
- (g) statutory exclusions under applicable consumer protection law that may otherwise restrict refundability.
5. How to Request a Refund
Refund requests must be submitted through the "Contact Us" tab on our official website (https://autosar.io) by opening a support ticket. Please include the following information for the fastest processing:
- the email address associated with your PopcornSAR Account;
- the payment identifier(s) corresponding to the processor used:
- For Paddle (international transactions): the order number, transaction ID, or invoice number issued by Paddle;
- For Toss Payments (Korean transactions): the Toss Payments transaction ID, payment approval number, or receipt number;
- the date of purchase;
- a brief explanation of the reason for the refund request (optional but appreciated, as it helps us improve PAIO).
We will acknowledge receipt within two (2) business days and aim to process eligible refunds within five (5) to ten (10) business days of approval.
6. How Refunds Are Issued
Refunds are issued through the same payment processor used at the time of purchase, to the original payment method:
- Paddle (Merchant of Record) — for international transactions originally processed through Paddle.
- Toss Payments (Korean payment gateway) — for transactions originally processed in Korean Won through Toss Payments. PopcornSAR will initiate the cancellation/refund through Toss Payments and, where required by Korean tax law, issue a corrected tax invoice.
The time it takes for the refund to appear on your statement depends on your payment provider:
- Credit/debit cards: typically 5–10 business days, sometimes longer depending on the issuing bank.
- PayPal: typically 1–3 business days.
- Other local payment methods: as determined by the relevant provider.
Currency conversion fees, foreign-transaction fees, or bank fees that were applied by your card issuer or bank at the time of the original payment are not refundable by PopcornSAR, Paddle, or Toss Payments.
7. Statutory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit any non-waivable statutory rights you may have as a consumer under the laws of your country of habitual residence. In particular:
- European Union / EEA: consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive. Our 14-day refund window for Annual Subscriptions effectively mirrors this; for Monthly Subscriptions, the 7-day window applies as a contractual policy alongside any non-waivable statutory rights you may have.
- United Kingdom: equivalent rights apply under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
- Republic of Korea: consumers have a right of withdrawal under the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, subject to certain limitations for digital content actually used.
- Japan: consumer protections under the Consumer Contract Act apply.
- United States: rights vary by state; California residents have additional rights under the CCPA.
If you believe a non-waivable right under your local law entitles you to a refund beyond what is described in this Policy, please describe the basis in your refund request and we will review your case in good faith.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy reflects when it was last revised. The Refund Policy in effect at the time of your purchase will govern your purchase.

This Refund Policy is made available in both English and Korean. In the event of any conflict between the two language versions, the English version shall prevail for users outside the Republic of Korea, and the Korean version shall prevail for users inside the Republic of Korea.
